S.A.L.T. (Serving And Learning Together) - Ministry for 3rd thru 5th graders
We meet once a month on the 3rd Sunday of the month for dinner, service project, games, and Bible story reflection. It is a time for children to grow closer together as well as practice loving our neighbor through service. We encourage all 3rd-5th grade children to join us!
The next S.A.L.T. meeting will be on Sunday, December 15, 5:30-7:30 pm in the Ministry Center Café.
We will meet on the following Sundays in 2019:
December 15
We will be asking families to sign up to serve dinner once or twice during the year. Dinner should be able to feed 15-20 people and be ready by 5:30 pm in the Ministry Center Café. Menu could be anything children like to eat such as sandwich, pizza, hotdog…. We will also ask the parent serving dinner to be a volunteer to assist us throughout that evening. Please be on the lookout for an email from Daewon to sign up for dinner and to be the volunteer that same evening.
Youth Group
During the year, Youth group will meet in the Session House on Sunday evenings 5:30-7:30 pm unless otherwise announced. We will be starting our time together with dinner followed by planned activity. We will also have quarterly outings to go to the movies, to Air U Trampoline Park, to Jumping Jive, and Frisbee Golf.
We will be asking our families to provide dinner (2 times per each youth member) during the year. Parents can sign up online at TakeThemAMeal website. An email will be sent out to parents with the web address. The family providing dinner should have the food ready by 5:20 pm in the Session House and clean up at the end of dinner.
