Our Purpose

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to nurture our faith by prayer and Bible Study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA), and witnesses to the promise of God's kingdom.

About Us

Whether you're looking to deepen your faith, build meaningful friendships, or become more involved in the life of our church, we invite you to join a Women's Circle this fall. Circles are a wonderful way to connect with other women, grow through Bible study, and support the ministry of First Presbyterian Church.

Women's Circles meet monthly from September through May, with a variety of meeting days and times to fit different schedules (see below for details). Each gathering includes fellowship, a brief meeting, and a Bible study (see below for details) led by members of the group. We would love to welcome you!

2026-2027 Bible Study

The 2026–2027 PW/Horizons Bible study, titled United Through Christ, Bound to Each Other, is a nine-lesson study exploring the Apostle Paul's First Letter to the Corinthians.

Authored by the Rev. Dr. Rhonda Mawhood Lee, it examines the quarrels, divisions, and struggles of the Corinthian church while highlighting Paul's timeless message of loving unity and the spiritual gifts given to all believers.
